What we believe

a Christian worldview

  • We believe the Bible to be true in every way and to be a true and dependable guide for our lives. 2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12

  • We believe in the Trinity – that there is one God, who has revealed Himself as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19, 3:16-17

  • We believe Jesus is God and that He became a man. We believe He lived a sinless human life and then died for our sins. He rose from the dead in triumph over sin, death and Satan. John 1:1, Hebrews 2:14-18, I Thessalonians 5:1-11, Acts 1:8 , 1 Corinthians 15, Hebrews 2:14-15  We believe Jesus will one day return to this earth in power and glory.  Acts 1:9-10

  • We believe that each human being must receive the gift of eternal life in order to live forever in heaven with God.  Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12-13, Romans 3:21-26, 1 John 1:7-10  Hebrews 9:27

  • We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who shows us when we sin, helps us to turn from sin to godly living, and empowers us to live for Christ. John 16:5-11  We believe in the present ministry of the Spirit and in the exercise of all biblical gifts of the Spirit. We choose to attune ourselves to the Spirt and make ourselves available to Him to work thru us daily.

  • We purpose to  concern ourselves with the hurts and social and practical needs of  others.

  • We believe that God has not rejected Israel. Therefore, for the sake of God, we offer friendship and support to the Jewish people. Romans 11

  • We believe that the entire body of Christ was created by Jesus and that He loves the entire church/body of Christ/His bride. Matthew 16:18, Romans 12:4-5, Ephesians 5:25

Our Values

  • Compassion:

We are to extend mercy for the physical and spiritual needs of believers and unbelievers alike – for the poor, widows and orphans… (James 1:27)

  • Unity:

Jesus prayed that we would be one as He is one with the Father. (John 17:21-23) The synergy of oneness with Him, His purposes, and one another – release the greater power of God through unity. (Lev. 26:8). As God’s people, we are to reflect His oneness in life, truth and power.

  • Variety:

In national, cultural and ethnic origins, gift mix, generations, worship experiences and expressions, negotiable doctrines and practices, our various styles express His richness and glory.

  • Collaboration:

We value partnering with others for Kingdom purposes.

  • Evangelism:

Sharing the Good News with others is the intentional overflow of a Christian’s life in God.

  • Equipping:

We are called to build up and equip the saints for the work of ministry. Knowing that all we have is because of His grace, so we give away what we have. We value discipleship, mentoring/coaching and training to help others more fully realize their callings, giftings and Kingdom purposes.

  • Media:

We believe in utilizing every modern means of communication available to us to communicate God’s heart and message throughout the world.

  • Prayer:

Prayer is our essential link in communing with God, the foundational work in all Kingdom work and a key way of knowing how to accomplish His purposes on earth.

  • Presence of God:

Valuing and living in God’s presence and walking in deep intimacy with Him is vital for all ministry. Jesus only spoke what He heard the Father say; He only did what He saw the Father do. (John 12:50; 5:19)

  • Pursuit of God:

Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross was more than enough to wash away our sins and give us full access to God. However, we hunger and thirst for more of Christ to be revealed in our lives and ministry for His glory and we highly value the process of increasing Christlikeness in all followers of Jesus. (Psalms 63:1-3)

  • Word of God:

The Bible is our plumb line. We highly value spending time with the Lord in the Word of God and inviting the Holy Spirit to bring revelation and insight.

  • Relationships based on and built by trust:

Our relationship with God will overflow in life and ministry and how we treat people.

  • Integrity:

Living out the truth of the Word of God humbly and consistently in love, in moral, financial and relational matters (Ephesians 4:15)

  • Creativity:

We value the God given creativity and uniqueness of each person, and we encourage freedom and purity in the process of learning how to flow in the blessing of “creating with the Creator” and using our talents, creativity and passion for Christ.
